Go there– be a pioneer, sort of, and support struggling artists. Struggling artists are far more interesting and worthwhile than the people you will meet at the mall or at some sports event. And if you disagree, there is obviously something terribly wrong with you. Work on it.

A Girl And Her Chicken

I saw this kid and her siblings dumping chickens at Crescent Lake Park in St Petersburg a couple of years ago. It took them a couple of days. The chickens went around pecking at people in confusion for a few days and then disappeared. Like Easter ducks and rabbits. People suck.

…structures, erasing without qualm what little is left of its downtown heritage. Downtown St Pete is like a mouthful of rotten teeth after a bout of indiscriminate pullin’. Lots of gaps, Berlin-1951 style, lots of random pastel dumps left standing without context. Yayy St Pete! Yayy Florida! Yayy 1960’s! Yayy Suburbs and Yayy America!
